Balboa Elementary School, part of San Diego Unified School District, has completed a comprehensive modernization focused on improving Building 100 and enhancing campus safety, infrastructure, and accessibility to support a better learning environment.
Key features of the project include:

New Construction:

A new 15,000 sq ft facility housing classrooms and administrative offices
New main campus entrance designed to improve accessibility and security

Infrastructure & Safety Upgrades:

Upgraded wireless networks and fire alarm systems
Campus-wide emergency communication system installation
New security lighting and fencing
Expanded parking and improved student drop-off/pick-up areas

Accessibility & Building Improvements:

ADA-compliant upgrades across the campus
Seismic code compliance and structural reinforcements
Modernized HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and sewer systems
Interior and exterior renovations including doors, windows, finishes, and fixtures
Roof replacements on buildings past their useful life

Outdoor & Site Enhancements:
