				Project Details
Chula Vista High School, part of the Sweetwater Union High School District, is undergoing a $40 million stadium modernization to upgrade athletic infrastructure and provide a state-of-the-art sports venue for both students and the community.
Key features of the project include:

Demolition:

Removal of existing track and field, handball courts, bleachers, scoreboard, press box, concession stands, and restrooms

New Athletic Facilities:

Synthetic turf field and eight-lane rubberized track
Dedicated areas for high jump, pole vault, long jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus
Construction of three sand volleyball courts

Seating & Amenities:

New home grandstands (1,600 seats) with a press box
New visitor bleachers (400 seats)
Two concession/restroom buildings, one storage building, and two ticket booths

Technology & Accessibility Upgrades:

LED field lighting and new public address system
ADA-compliant improvements to the K Street parking lot and access routes
