Our team recently completed a comprehensive hazardous material abatement and demolition project at the former Macy’s department store in Westfield Mission Valley, San Diego. This project was a crucial step in the transformation of the historic shopping center into “The Valley,” a mixed-use lifestyle district featuring retail, dining, entertainment, and residential spaces. Our work involved the meticulous removal of asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials, followed by the complete interior demolition of the building. This prepared the site for its redevelopment into a modern, vibrant community hub, aligning with the city’s vision for a walkable, livable Mission Valley.
