Watkins Environmental completed a comprehensive hazardous material abatement and full-building demolition project at 1330 India Street in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. The work prepared the property for future redevelopment by safely addressing hazardous building materials before removing the existing structure.

Asbestos and Lead Abatement

Before demolition began, Watkins Environmental performed hazardous material abatement throughout the existing building. The work included commercial asbestos removal, commercial lead removal, and the safe handling of other identified hazardous materials.

Full-Building Demolition

Following environmental abatement, Watkins completed the commercial demolition of the existing structure. Coordinating hazardous material removal and demolition helped efficiently clear the property and prepare the site for future construction.
