Watkins Environmental completed a comprehensive hazardous material abatement and demolition project in Coronado, California, preparing the property for future redevelopment. The project required the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and other hazardous building materials before demolition of the existing structure.

Asbestos and Lead Abatement

Before demolition began, Watkins Environmental performed environmental abatement to safely address hazardous materials identified within the structure. The work included commercial asbestos removal and commercial lead removal, helping prepare the property for demolition while meeting applicable environmental and safety requirements.

Commercial Demolition & Site Preparation

Following hazardous material abatement, Watkins completed commercial demolition of the existing structure. Coordinating abatement and demolition allowed the site to be efficiently cleared and prepared for the next phase of development.

Preparing the Coronado Property for Redevelopment
