Project Details
Euclid Elementary School, part of San Diego Unified School District, is undergoing a phased Whole Site Modernization to replace outdated buildings, improve site infrastructure, and create modern learning environments that support long-term student success.
Key features of the project include:
- Demolition and Removal:
- Demolition of approximately 15,565 sq ft of existing classroom buildings
- Removal of 11 relocatable buildings to make room for new development
- New Construction:
- A new student services and classroom facility
- Addition of a new visitor and administrator parking lot to improve traffic flow and accessibility
- Modernization and Interior Upgrades:
- Modernization of approx. 37,650 sq ft of multipurpose rooms, classrooms, and kindergarten areas
- Conversion of the existing student services facility into additional classroom space
- Renovation of existing learning environments to meet modern standards
- Site Improvements:
- Installation of shaded lunch court areas and a new turf playfield
- Site work to improve drainage, usability, and outdoor spaces
- Upgrades to campus security features
The modernization is being completed in phases, with final completion expected by Summer 2027.
