40 Under 40: Where Passion Meets Purpose

The San Diego Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award is more than just a recognition. It’s a spotlight on how young talent is shaping our city. This award highlights professionals who are not only excelling in their fields but also actively contributing to the betterment of San Diego.

Nominees for the 40 Under 40 award undergo a rigorous selection process, evaluated on criteria including professional achievements, community involvement, and their potential to influence the future of San Diego. The award finalists represent a diverse range of sectors, including technology, legal, finance, non-profit, hospitality, and environmental organizations.

It’s no surprise, then, that this year’s 40 Under 40 also names Bryn as a finalist. Along with serving as Watkins Environmental’s Vice President, Bryn boasts 10 years of localized community-building experience in San Diego, featuring 74 sponsored events and 4,932 successful projects.

“I’m honored to be included as a 40 Under 40 finalist,” Bryn says. “It’s my goal to keep contributing to the great community that we live in through continued environmental stewardship and civic engagement. Making San Diego better also positively affects the people around me, so it feels like a win-win.”
