Project Details
Bonita Vista High School, part of the Sweetwater Union High School District, is undergoing significant upgrades to its academic and athletic facilities. This project includes the demolition of the existing Building Q (autoshop) and the construction of a new 16,445 square-foot facility with seven classrooms designed to support specialized programs such as sports medicine, autoshop, digital photography, multimedia, engineering, and dance.
Additional improvements include the transformation of the central quad with five new lunch structures, a performance stage, seating walls, and enhanced landscaping. The volleyball courts are being upgraded, with new sand courts replacing the existing hard courts. Accessibility enhancements are being made across campus to ensure ADA compliance.
Our team played a crucial role in the success of this project by providing hazardous material abatement. We ensured the safe and compliant removal of hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead-based paint, from existing structures, ensuring a safe environment for both workers and future occupants.
