Project Details
Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Port Hueneme completed construction of a new Combat Vehicle Maintenance Facility designed to strengthen Seabee maintenance operations and support long-term mission readiness.
Modern Vehicle Maintenance Facility
The facility includes 24 maintenance bays, direct support tool rooms, parts storage areas, and specialized shops for tire changing, welding, and parts cleaning. These dedicated spaces provide the infrastructure needed to maintain and service military vehicles efficiently.
Advanced Maintenance Systems
The project also incorporates an Electronic Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) designed to improve facility oversight, operational efficiency, and building system performance.
Supporting Federal and Military Construction
Watkins Environmental supports federal and military construction projects with specialized environmental and demolition services. Depending on project requirements, these capabilities can include selective demolition, commercial demolition, and other environmental services that help prepare military facilities and sites for construction and modernization.
Supporting Seabee Readiness
The completed Combat Vehicle Maintenance Facility provides NBVC Port Hueneme with modern infrastructure to support vehicle maintenance, equipment readiness, and the operational needs of the U.S. Navy Seabees.
