Valley Middle School Full-Site Modernization Project

Project Details

Valley Middle School, part of the Carlsbad Unified School District, completed a full-site modernization project focused on improving campus infrastructure, accessibility, and learning environments for students and staff.

Accessibility and Campus Improvements

The project included construction of new concrete ramps and stairs to improve ADA accessibility across the campus. Additional site improvements included upgrades to underground utilities, exterior building cleaning, and enhancements to campus grounds and common areas.

Classroom and Interior Renovations

Interior work included modernization of classrooms and restrooms, along with renovations to the kitchen and food service areas. The multipurpose room also received upgraded seating, flooring, and lighting to create a more functional space for school activities and events.

Watkins Environmental supports school modernization projects with services such as interior demolition and selective demolition, helping prepare existing facilities for renovation while preserving surrounding areas that remain in use.
